The big budget bill being debated by Congress would help tackle climate change and also make clean electricity more affordable for strapped households.
Jon Rea is an associate with RMI’s electricity practice, where he analyzes data and develops financial models to help accelerate the transition from fossil fuel power plants to low-carbon electricity generation. Prior to joining RMI, he completed a Ph.D. at the Colorado School of Mines, where he studied thermal energy storage for concentrating solar power. Before graduate school, Jon explored several aspects of clean energy at MIT.
