Elizabeth Somerset is development adviser for Canary Media. She has more than two decades of fundraising experience at the American Red Cross and other nonprofit organizations, and she operates her own firm, E.A. Somerset Consulting. A native of Ohio, Elizabeth now lives with her family in the Baltimore/​Washington, D.C., area.
